Infants 0-17 months old
Our infant curriculum is designed to teach them to learn about themselves and the world around them thru interaction with other children and adults.
Preschool I - 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 yrs old
Two year olds in the Preschool I class want to feel independent and “in control”. This is a critical time for children to develop independence in social, emotional and physical behavior.
Pre-K - 4 1/2 to 5 yrs old
Here the "Theme Curriculum" is pivotal. This curriculum sets the stage for the school for special holidays, historic events, etc. Material is created by the teacher for her group. It includes Units of Material on such topics as: Community, Science, Health, Holidays, Etc. “The Creative Curriculum for Preschool” is also used for curriculum.
Toddlers 18 months- 2 1/2 yrs old
Our Toddler curriculum is designed to allow them to explore everything with their natural boundless energy. We encourage their sense of discovery while building vocabulary, encouraging imagination, and personalizing learning.
Preschool II - 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 yrs old
The Intermediate II class is for children that are potty trained and will be entering kindergarten in two years. Opportunities are given to the children to demonstrate their newly developed self help skills.
Kindergarten - 5 to 6 yrs old
An awareness of sound-symbol relationships (phonics) is introduced through the Wilson Language program called “Fundations”. Our curriculum programs are designed to complement those taught in the public school Kindergarten programs.
